【Video Reviews】-Modified Richard Mille RM35-03 Sky‑High Priced Version-Parmigiani Upgraded-How to Use

Posted on June 3, 2026June 3, 2026 By kevin No Comments on 【Video Reviews】-Modified Richard Mille RM35-03 Sky‑High Priced Version-Parmigiani Upgraded-How to Use

Summary of Key Points about the Modified Richard Mille RM35-03 (Sky‑High Priced Version)

Based on the latest video transcript (focusing on the Richard Mille RM35-03), here are the essential features and functions of this top‑tier modified watch.

1. Three‑Position Crown Gears (W, N, H)

  • N gear (neutral): Crown turns to adjust time (demonstrated: turning crown moves the hands)
  • W gear (winding): After pressing the upper button, switch to W gear; winding makes the two real, movable double spring barrels at 10 and 12 o’clock move visibly
  • H gear (time‑setting): (Implied; N gear was shown for time setting; the sequence is W → N → H)

2. Butterfly Rotor Control (OFF & N)

  • Controlled by the lower button (sport button) on the back
  • OFF position: Butterfly rotor separates – winding efficiency is lower
  • N position: Press again → rotor closes – winding efficiency is higher
  • The rotor adjusts according to wrist movement, changing winding efficiency dynamically – a patented Richard Mille innovation

3. Movement Details – Comparable to Original

  • Gear polishing, brushing, sleeve, and secondary processing of screws – all comparable to the original watch
  • 3 o’clock position: Escapement wheel and balance wheel – very delicate, including the horseshoe‑shaped snap ring

4. Back of Movement – Free‑Sprung Structure

  • Free‑sprung (non‑caliber) structure – very clear
  • Counterweights around the balance wheel – four points behind the cross are counterweights
  • This free‑sprung counterweight process only appears in original genuine watches

5. Mechanism for Rotor Switching

  • Two devices (gears) control the opening and closing of the automatic rotor
  • Press the button → rotor pops back (separates); press again → locks in place (closes)
  • This is a very innovative Richard Mille feature – described as “very fun”

6. Overall Assessment

  • The watch achieves the same functions as the original
  • Internal movement finishing is comparable to the genuine
  • The video supplements previous explanations with more detailed demonstration

7. Key Quality Checklist for RM35-03 (Premium Build)

Concluding Comment

This video provides a detailed, hands‑on demonstration of the Richard Mille RM35-03 – a highly complex modified watch that replicates the genuine’s unique functions: the three‑position crown gears (W, N, H) and the butterfly rotor control (OFF/N) that changes winding efficiency by separating or closing the rotor via a lower button. The movement features a free‑sprung balance with counterweights (only found in original watches), delicate escapement finishing, and a precise rotor switching mechanism using two gears. The internal polishing, brushing, and screw finishing are comparable to the original.

Strengths of this build:

  • Fully functional butterfly rotor – opens/closes, adjusting winding efficiency dynamically – a patented RM feature that no clone movement can replicate.
  • Correct 3‑position crown operation – W (winding with real double spring barrels), N (neutral / time setting), H (time‑set) – all work as genuine.
  • Free‑sprung balance with counterweights – a hallmark of genuine high‑end movements, correctly executed.
  • High‑quality movement finishing – gears, screws, escapement, and snap ring are all well finished.
  • Innovative and fun – the rotor switching mechanism is described as “very fun” and adds to the wearing experience.

Final verdict: The modified RM35-03 is the pinnacle of Richard Mille modification for those who demand full functional authenticity. The butterfly rotor and 3‑position crown are unique to this model and cannot be found in cheaper clones. The movement finishing and free‑sprung balance are executed to a very high standard. For collectors with the budget who want to experience the innovative RM35-03 functionality without paying millions, this build is the ultimate choice. As always, independent verification of the movement (genuine vs. high‑quality clone) is recommended. Bozwatch’s detailed demonstration of the rotor switching and crown gears provides a clear quality checklist. This is the “spend less, get the full RM35-03 experience” proposition.

Hello everyone, this is Bozwatch.

Every watch is a work of art, a testament to time, and I am a fanatic believer in them. I also hope that watch lovers can avoid pitfalls and find their own “Bole” (discerning patron).

In the last video, I explained the sky‑high modified RM35-03. Some customers didn’t have a clear understanding of it. So today, without further ado, let’s take a closer look together. Is this sky‑high priced modified RM35-03 worth playing with? Let’s examine it in detail.

First, for a modified watch, it needs to have the same functions as the original. Let’s go through the three gears: W, N, and H – winding, neutral, and time‑setting.

Currently, it is in N gear. You can see that in N gear, you can adjust the time. When we turn the crown, the time starts to move. See? That’s N gear. After you set the time, press to switch to W gear to wind the watch. When winding, you can see the two real, movable double spring barrels at 10 o’clock and 12 o’clock. Then press N gear again to engage neutral.

That’s the first function.

The second function is the OFF and N gears – these control the butterfly rotor on the back. Press the lower button (the sport button) and it jumps to OFF. See? When it reaches OFF, the butterfly rotor separates. When separated, its winding efficiency is not as strong. Press again, and it becomes N gear – closed. When closed, the winding efficiency is higher. It adjusts according to your wrist movement, changing the winding efficiency.

This watch not only achieves the same functions but also the internal movement details – such as gear polishing, brushing, the sleeve, and secondary processing of the screws – all comparable to the original watch.

At the 3 o’clock position, you can see the escapement wheel and balance wheel – the internal escapement wheel connected to the balance wheel is very, very delicate, including the horseshoe‑shaped snap ring.

Now look at the back. The back has a free‑sprung (non‑caliber) structure, very clear. There are counterweights around the balance wheel – the four points behind the cross are counterweights. This free‑sprung counterweight process only appears in original genuine watches.

The back is actually quite interesting. Look at the movement structure on the back. When we press it, it pops back. Where does it pop back through? There are two devices in these two places – these two gears control the switch (opening and closing) of the automatic rotor. Press again – look, it goes back, it locks in place. That’s a very innovative Richard Mille feature – it’s very fun. Press again, it pops back. To close it, after you press, it slowly tightens, the gears here hold it, and it closes. That’s its function.

I didn’t explain it in such detail in the last video, so in this episode I’m making a supplement. If you are interested in this RM35-03 and want to know more about this solution, you can also contact Bozwatch.

That’s today’s Bozwatch video – a simple watch sharing. If you want to know about this RM35-03, you can also contact Bozwatch.

Okay, see you next time.
