Full Parmigiani movement vs. semi-Parmigiani movement modification for RM35-02

*Full Parmigiani movement vs. semi-Parmigiani movement modification for RM35-02: the only difference is the balance wheel on the caseback side. The front side is identical. Under high magnification, you can see the difference in finishing. My personal suggestion: if you value cost‑effectiveness, choose the semi-Parmigiani movement modification.*
Full Parmigiani movement: the balance wheel is genuine (with visible chamfering/polishing).
Semi-Parmigiani movement: the balance wheel is a domestic Chinese one (no chamfering).

So here’s the deal with RM35‑02 mods:
Full Parmigiani – genuine balance wheel with proper chamfering (you can see the polished bevels under a loupe).
Semi‑Parmigiani – domestic balance wheel, no chamfering, but the front of the movement looks exactly the same.
From the dial side, nobody can tell the difference. Only when you flip the watch and look at the back with magnification you’ll spot the finishing.
My two cents: if you’re all about that perfect underside detail and don‘t mind paying more, go full. But for most people, the semi is the smarter choice – same look from the front, way better value. Don’t overpay for a detail only a loupe and a flip will reveal.
